Calls in the wind (Avian cartographies of ecological change) is a collaborative sound‑art project developed in dialogue with biologist and birdsong expert Fabio Cherchi, in collaboration with local musicians, schools and institutions. Through kayak‑based field recording, collective listening, and sound creation, the project is a testimony of coastal soundscapes and birdsongs of Sardinia. The collected material is transformed into a shared sound work, presented through live performances integrating field recordings and collective creation with the Poliarmonica.
